A very big and formidable happening completely dedicated to orient world and all its traditional and modern aspects
Exploring the orient universe, dive totally in culture and traditions of an endless continent like Asia. Musics, colors, scents of far lands.
29, 30 and 31 October at the "Carrarafiere" complex, will take life an unprecedented event: The Orient Festival, that promises to be the biggest kermesse didicated to orient world: 35000 square meters to begin knowing the Orient through sport, ludic, cultural, commercial, religious activities. Photographic shows, oriental gastronomy, TRADITIONAL CERIMONIES like the tea cerimony, origami, chinese shadows, concerts and dances. And again Zen Poems, Kimono and Sari shows, and much more, in a continuous succession of envents, shows, meetings, exibitions, cerimonies, indian and japanese concerts. The aspectative of audience is very high, we expect over 20000 visitors, just thanks to these many events, unique and particular, to the massive promotion campain, but even thanks to press and national televisions, that from the beginning have given their disponibility to promote a kermesse real unique in its category.
And again a real BAZAR where everyone can indulge between colored fabrics, carpets, typical clothes, jewels, vases, candles, scents, tatoos, ceramics, ointments, bags and sandals, kimonos, saris, and much more.
Pure enjoyment, but also relax. Yes because at Orient Festival can find an area dedicated to WELLNESS: fantastic massages with ointments performed from oriental expert hands, the Holistic disciplines area, the martial and traditional yoga, eukinetic, ayurveda, shamanism, rebirthing, oriental and occidental bioenergy, shiatsu, tuina, meditation, tai chi chuan, ci kung, postural integration, breathing, antistress, and thousand other disciplines, all targeted to wellness of person and body-mind integration, in a combination of orient and occident.
Relax, fun, and even GASTRONOMY: inside pavilions will be served typical orient food: from chinese cuisine to japanese and indian, a real triumph of flavor, with vegan food of ayurvedic cuisine, or sushi and sashimi, or again the typical ones of China and India.
THE MARTIAL MARATHON
But it's not over. Infact, at its sixth edition, the most beautiful, "THE MARTIAL MARATHON", the biggest open world tournament, opened to all assotiations, federations and clubs. With over 90 nations, 37 tatamis, 3 rings, 1 cage, 4000 athletes, 250 officials, and over 40 styles of martial arts and combat sports. In short, who will enter the Versilia fair complex will take a 360 degree dip in the magic orient lands.
TRADITIONAL CERIMONIES
in collaboration with the cultural associations Italy-Japan, Italy-China, Italy-Korea, Italy-India, Italy-Vietnam, Italy-Thailand and Consulatesand Embassies in Italy will be presented typical cerimonies of traditional Oriental world.
THE CHA NO YU
The prestigious tea cerimony, a real social and spiritual rite presented by master Kaory Hayashi.
KIMONO DRESSING
The art of dressing edited by"Iroha" assotiation, presented by Master Yoko Shimada.
EXPOSURE AND CLEANING OF KATANA
Cerimony where will be explained all the grades of the procedure of katana cleaning. Presented by Master Angelo Balconi.
CHINESE SHADOWS
Discovery of ancient theatre of chinese shadows, edited by "the thousand golden cherry" assotiation.
TRADITIONAL TYPICAL DANCES
The most suggestive indian chinese and japanese dances, ancient and modern ones, in collaboration with the embassies.
SHOWS AND CARE OF BONSAI
The art of making thumbnails of trees, edited by Mr Castorina Raul, Tuscany bonsai responsible.
