THE buzz shoppers feel as they buy items has been measured for the first time.

Women's hearts race the most at the sight of a dress, while men get the biggest rush from buying lingerie, research shows.

Fake Franck Muller Watches Debenhams used monitors to track the heart rates of 1,000 customers between the ages of 20 and 40.

The average resting heart rate for women is 74 beats per minute. This rose to an average of 120 bmp among those who found the right dress.

Coming across a glamorous pair of shoes saw Fake Quadrate Handbag Handbags female pulses rise to 117 bmp, while handbags were almost as exciting, scoring 113 bpm.

Readings were especially high with sale items.

The average resting heart rate for men is 72 bpm, but it
embroidered patches soared to 118 bpm when buying lingerie -- a bigger percentage increase than when a man's football team scores a goal. Next was home entertainment goods at 105 bpm and then sporting goods at 103 bpm. Ed Watson, at Debenhams, said: "Women appear to embark upon an emotional rollercoaster when they step into a shop."
